Eatech is Posti’s collaboration partner in charge of the maintenance of the Parcel Point network of Posti. Eatech also participates in the development of the Parcel point backend system. The Continuous Services unit of Eatech carried out the modernisation of the Parcel Point equipment and the implementation of the new software during autumn 2017. The work covered all Parcel Points in Finland.
As a result of the renewal of the Parcel Point network of Posti, background processes of Parcel Points were speeded up, which makes it possible for Posti to better tackle the continuously increasing parcel volume. This change is visible to customers using Posti’s Parcel Points, particularly, as an increase in ease-of-use when sending or picking up a parcel.
