I came to Eatech to work in the summer of 2012. I ended up here, when a friend of mine mentioned Eatech has a need for a new expert. At first I came to work on Eatech’s continuous services; and I worked there for about a year and a half, after which I started as a software developer. Maintenance work side has helped a lot in developing tasks, because I have continued in the same projects. I only work from a different perspective.
After moving to the developmental side, I was able to complete my master’s degree because of the flexible working hours. The school (TUT) was also next to the workplace, which was helpful.
Nowadays, I do mainly different software projects. I’ve done a lot of projects related to payment solutions, such as cash management and monitoring of projects. I have also done a variety of web projects.
I like the fact that we do not have to work from 8 AM to 4 PM, because we have sliding working hours. I also like to have at least one remote day a week. It is the most effective and best option for me to work, when I need a lot of focus.
The best thing about this job is to learn new things. All the time, there are new problems that need to be solved. Resolving issues is very interesting. I enjoy my work, for example, when the project has come to the finish line and we have created something great. It is rewarding to see that our work has a real impact on customers’ everyday life and business.
